Welcome To Huron City Schools
School Year 2009-2010!

Huron City Schools serve as a focal point for the community. Our district consists of four buildings: Shawnee Elementary School (preschool through 2nd grade), Woodlands Intermediate School (3rd grade through 6th grade), McCormick Junior High School (grades 7 and 8), Huron High School (grades 9 through 12).

Approximately 1600 students are served by the district and are transported by a fleet of 16 buses. Huron City offers gifted and special education programs along with many extra-curricular activities for all ages. Approximately 85% of Huron's students opt to further their education after high school graduation.
